A DIY Valentines Day

Heart Napkin

If you cook a nice dinner for your Valentine, fold your napkins in a heart shape.

Give the kids, friends or office mates themed dice with candy inside.

Eat your heart out with anatomically correct heart brownies.

Make your paper clips into usable heart shapes.

Forgot to buy a card? Print a zebra, bird, or other themed card. Here’s a snail card with a place for a lollipop.

Have an empty paper egg carton? Turn it into a heart-shaped work of art.

Did you eat all of the candies you were going to give to your loved one? Make that box into a picture frame.

Great idea for DIY bookmarks

"I Love You" - DIY Bookmark

On my quest for Valentines topics, I stumbled across this little gem about how to reuse those business reply envelopes that constantly come in the junkmail.

The gist of it is that you cut the corner off an envelope at a 45 degree angle. Voila, bookmark. It fits perfectly on the corner of a page, and as a bonus, it doesn’t fall down between the pages where you can’t find it and you try to carefully turn the pages to find it again only to have it fall out onto the floor before you figure out what page it was on.

But I’m not bitter.

The finished product leaves a nice area to write a note on. Or… a nice “Happy Valentines” message. Insert your own vomit-inducing saccharine-sweet message.

Just don’t leave your sappy message in the comments, or I might vomit.
