My Wife’s Etsy Page

(or how to write a shameless plug)

http://flutterbeads.etsy.com

She makes some neat stuff, and is only selling this stuff to offset the cost of the gazillions of beads and stuff she’s buying. And she takes requests. What’s not to like?

I keep trying to convince her to make some nerdy jewelry. Like a millenium falcon necklace, or stargate earrings.

It’s only a couple of days before Spring Break and it’s snowing outside. I mean, really snowing. Here are some of the more interesting photos I took a couple of hours ago.

obey hypnotoad

I decided to be creative instead of sarcastic for a moment. And when I say creative, I mean that I created something, not came up with an original idea. I just couldn’t get this one out of my head, so I finally made it.

Pics of Past Woot! Shirts

aaagh - Woot! Shirt

I found a wonderful archive of shirts that were featured on Woot! The ideas and execution of each of these graphics are simply wonderful. I’m wishing I had been paying attention to these before, because it’s generally just $10 to pick one up.

Incredible Art on Lunchbags

Lunch Bag Art

It’s like someone took every topic I like and put them on lunchbags.

This dad makes a new lunch bag for his kid every day during his lunch break. Each one is an incredible work of art that ought to be featured in a gallery, but who’s to argue. If I were the kid, I’d want to take them to school.

The topics of his art range from comic books and robots from movies, to bands and comedies. If you were born in the 70’s or 80’s, you’ll get every reference.

Sadly, he is now suffering from my-job-died-with-the-economy-itis. If you have a place for him, please hire him. And make sure to keep him well stocked in brown bags and crayons.
